Abdo Romeo Abdo. From Ruby Rose to BNK Engineering.

In 1998 a new name appeared in Belarusian business sphere.

After the arrangement with Ruby Rose international companies group for realisation of large investments in Minsk has been reached, a subsidiary company of Ruby Rose Group in Belarus was registered in July, 1998.

Abdo Romeo Abdo has been the general representative of Ruby Rose Group in Belarus since 1998. Being the head of the group, he was initially in charge of increasing company’s capitalisation, investment projects packages’ formation and management of their realisation.

In 2002 the company started its work on creating a new investment holding in Belarus. Thus holding LLC "BNK Engineering" was established, with Abdo Romeo Abdo as a general director, which aim is the realisation of investment projects in building and industry. In addition, in 2002 Abdo Romeo Abdo initiated work on creating a holding specialising in large telecommunication projects in Asian countries. Over the period from 1998 to 2006, Ruby Rose companies group in Minsk realised the following investments projects:

• «Europe» shopping center. At present the first line of the complex is functioning and second line’s building is being carried out. Volume of investments - about 40 million US dollars.
• "Riga" Shopping center. It has been put into operation. The total area of the center is 8, 500 square metres.
• "Vostok" Shopping center. It has been put into operation. The total area is 4, 500 square metres.
• "Na Golodeda" Shopping center. It has been put into operation. The total area is 4, 500 square metres.
• "Rechanka" administrative-trading complex on Pobeditelej Avenue. A 24-stored building. Prospective volume of investments - 25 million .

"BNK Engineering" holding projects:

• A business centre in Kalvarijskaja Street, Minsk. The total area is 18, 000 square metres. Prospective volume of investments - 15 million US dollars.
• A business centre on Dzerzhinsky Avenue, Minsk. The total area is 18, 000 square metres. Prospective volume of investments - 15 million US dollars.
• A multifunctional administrative-trading centre on railroad side square, Minsk. The total area is 45, 000 square metres. Prospective volume of investments - 30 million US dollars.
• "Hyatt" Five-stars hotel, Minsk, 260 rooms. Approximate volume of investments - 55 million US dollars.
• "Druzhba" Residential area, Minsk. The total area is 287, 000 square metres. Prospective volume of investments - 150 million US dollars.
• "Lebiazhy" Residential area, Minsk. The total area is 100, 000 square metres. Prospective volume of investments - 150 million US dollars.

All these projects concern the city of Minsk. According to Mr. Romeo Abdo, the moment has come for the company to work in other cities of the republic.
